What Planboard collects on this site and in the app, why, who helps us process it and how you can export or delete it.

Who is responsible

Planboard, based in Spain, is the controller of your personal data under the GDPR.

What we collect on this site

What you type in our forms. The waitlist asks for your name, email, company or website, country, role, the networks you post on and your topic. The radar report asks for your topic and email, and the help bubble only for your email.
Where you came from. With each form we store the campaign tags in the link you arrived from (the utm_ values), the site that sent you and which button you used.
How the site is used. Google Analytics records page views and clicks on buttons, forms and questions, with cookies (see Cookies below).

What we collect in the app

Your account: your email address and how you sign in (password, email link or Google). Passwords are handled by our sign-in provider and we never see them.
Your profile and settings, including your writing rules, language and preferences.
What you create: projects, strategies, plans, posts, drafts, images, radars and their results, agents, and anything you paste or import.
Connected accounts: if you connect X, the access tokens X gives us so Planboard can publish what you ask it to. They are kept on our servers, never in your browser.
Your own AI key, if you add one in Settings.
Usage counts: how many AI uses, AI images and posts on X you used each month, so your plan's limits can be applied.

Why we use it

To run the app you signed up for (the contract between us): saving your work, running your radars, writing and designing what you ask for, and sending the emails your plan includes.
To answer what you asked for on this site (your request): sending your radar report, your invite to the paid plans and following up on them. Reply to any of our emails to stop hearing from us.
To understand which pages and buttons work (our legitimate interest in improving the site), through Google Analytics.
To keep the service safe and within its limits, for example counting usage and blocking abuse.

We do not sell your data and we do not show ads. Your content is used to do what you ask in the app, and nothing else.

Who processes it for us

These companies handle data on our behalf, each only for the job listed:

Netlify: hosts this site and the app, receives the forms and runs the app's server functions and storage.
Supabase: the app's database and sign in.
Google: Gemini writes text, makes images and searches for news; Google sign in, if you use it; Google Analytics on this site.
xAI: Grok searches X live for radars and can make images.
Resend: sends the emails Planboard sends you, like the daily digest.
X: when you connect your X account and publish from Planboard.
Anthropic, only if you add your own Claude key: your requests then go to Anthropic under your own account with them.

To run a radar, the search terms for your topic go to the services it searches, such as X, Reddit and YouTube. Your name and email do not.

Some of these providers are based in the United States or process data there. When data leaves the European Economic Area, it is covered by the safeguards those providers offer under the GDPR, such as the European Commission's standard contractual clauses or the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you can see the data we hold about you, correct it, take a copy, have it deleted, restrict or object to how we use it, and withdraw consent you gave. In the app you do this yourself, from Settings, under AI and data:

See and take a copy: Export downloads a copy of all your projects.
Delete: Delete account asks you to type your email to confirm, then deletes your account, projects, posts, radars and the connected X account right away. It cannot be undone, so export first if you want to keep anything.
Correct: edit your profile, settings and content directly in the app.
If you only left your email in a form on this site, reply to any email we sent you and we will remove your entry.

If you think we got something wrong, you can complain to the Spanish data protection authority, the Agencia Española de Protección de Datos (aepd.es), or to the authority where you live.

Cookies and browser storage

Google Analytics loads only if you accept it in the cookie banner. It then sets cookies (named _ga and _ga_ followed by an ID) to count visits and tell new visitors from returning ones. You can change your choice any time with Cookie settings at the bottom of every page, and the site works the same either way.
This site keeps a few things in your browser's storage that never leave it on their own: your light or dark theme, your cookie choice, whether you closed the announcement bar or a prompt, whether you already left your email, and the campaign tags for this visit.
The app keeps you signed in and remembers your settings and recent work in your browser's storage.

We do not use advertising cookies.

Children

Planboard is not meant for anyone under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their data.

Changes

When this policy changes we update it here and change the date at the top. If a change affects how we use account data, we email account holders before it applies.
